I went running today–old lady running for you regular sports enthusiasts. I’m all stiff and tight now, but I did it. I ran for 30 minutes straight and covered a little over two miles. Now I know this is not a lot, but I AM 15 pounds overweight right now. And I do have an injured foot. I did pretty good. My goal is 45 minutes to an hour without stopping.
And today–I just had to write about this–at the grocery store, an old gray-haired man, about 70, stopped me in the dairy department to explain the benefits of live active cultures to me. Well, I just smiled and thought, “a man after my own heart.” Anyway, after his 2 minute talk, he turns away and then turns back to me and says, “You are one beautiful lady.”
Now, I’m 38 years old. My knees hurt, my toes hurt, and sometimes I forget to comb my hair. I was so happy. I smiled so big all of my teeth showed. Turning a 70 year old man’s head just made my day.
And even though the whole event fills me with joy, I do realize that I need to get out of the house a little bit more.

What encouragement and he shared great info about the live cultures.
